While rescuing a dog who had been thrown out of a car, they encountered a sick kitten.

The Hope For Paws rescue team made their way to the location reported to them of a dog having been thrown from a car. As they were en route, Alex spied a small, motionless kitten lying under a vehicle. After noting that the kitten was still breathing, they continued on their mission. Fortunately, a mechanic had been keeping watch over the dog until they arrived, although she looked somewhat worse for wear.

It was time to take both animals back to the animal hospital for baths and checkups. Fern, the cat, had some issues that necessitated the removal of a polyp in order to be able to breathe properly again. Templeton, the dog, had a recovery period before he was quickly adopted into his forever home! The story of these two getting a second chance at life is inextricably linked, though they may not be aware of it. It is thanks to them that they are both in the situations they are today! 🙂
