Video: A Dog Was Ejected From An SUV During a Car Accident in Conroe.

On July 1, the Caney Creek Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to a crash on FM 2090, right next to their station. A Chevy Tahoe had plowed into the back of a stalled trailer, causing it to momentarily lift up onto its two front tires before bouncing back to the ground. Surveillance footage revealed that the SUV was carrying a dog, which had been thrown from the vehicle upon impact. The video showed the canine being launched from the Tahoe and landing on its back, before quickly getting up and fleeing. The Fire Department is now searching for the dog.

Caney Creek firefighters reported that they have been supplying food and water for the animal, but so far have not had a sighting. They have also been unable to contact the dog's owner or family, so they are unclear about the breed or the pet's name. The driver of the Tahoe sustained injuries, including a broken leg, but is anticipated to make a full recovery. Check out the surveillance footage of the crash below:
