Colon stated that he was informed that Rivera was a certified veterinarian and paid him $650 to perform a c-section on his dog, Lyla. Despite Colon bringing her to an animal hospital, the medical attention came too late and she passed away due to septic shock, sadly taking two unborn puppies with her.
