The family had relinquished their dog with a facial deformity, but a kind-hearted soul stepped in to make things right.

No matter what beauty looks like on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts. Our physical features don't make us beautiful; everyone is beautiful in their own way. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for Lucky, who was born with a severe facial deformity. People simply couldn't bring themselves to look at him, so he struggled to find a loving home. He was adopted several times, but each time he was treated poorly. One family even left him outside because he didn't get along with their cat.

The destitute pooch was tethered to a trunk, with no bed or sustenance, perpetually overlooked and disregarded. In the end, he was surrendered to a refuge as his family needed to move! They didn't acknowledge him as a part of the family and had no aspiration of taking him along.

One day, an unexpected event occurred due to a post on social media. A volunteer from the shelter posted some pictures of Lucy at the groomer, and he looked quite handsome. Jamie Hult, a friend of the volunteer, quickly phoned the volunteer and expressed an interest in seeing Lucy. Jamie even wanted to adopt him!

Unfortunately, Lucy had both fleas and heartworms, requiring veterinary treatment. But Jamie wasn't deterred - her heart opened for him, and she wanted to take him in regardless. Thankfully, after a long road, Lucy made a full recovery.

Jamie ultimately settled on the name Beaux Tox, after Botox, to reflect what he needed. With a new human companion, a new home, and a new, beautiful name, they have been together for over a year and are deeply content with one another.

Spread the word and let your family and friends know about this.
