The family dog displayed incredible bravery as it leapt out of a window to flee the burning home.

It has long been said that cats have nine lives due to their remarkable ability to survive a long fall and land on their feet. However, one dog may be added to this list! Justin Steinmetz, a passerby who was on his way to work, spotted the pup making a daring leap from a burning house in Fleetwood, Berks County. Thankfully, there were no occupants inside since the children were at school and the adults were at work.

Justin was in a state of panic when he saw the fire, and he worked quickly to get help. He managed to get a driver to contact the authorities. Unfortunately, the hose wasn't enough to put the fire out, so the firefighters had to be called in. As they were arriving, they noticed Charlie, the family's dog, in the window of the second floor. Justin began recording the scene and the firefighters were able to encourage the brave pup to make the jump. Thankfully, he made it safely and is now safe and sound! Check out the video below to see his daring escape!
