A video has emerged featuring an incredible scene: a large and muscular kangaroo standing on the other side of a tall fence, scratching its belly and flexing its muscles, leaving onlookers astounded. Is this the legendary buff kangaroo?
"Goodness me… he's like something out of this world," one person exclaims. Indeed, he looks the part of a boxer, and - no surprise here - his name is Rocky. That's right - Rocky Balboa, the iconic boxer played by Sylvester Stallone in a series of films.
A video of the exceptionally strong kangaroo, Rocky, flexing his impressive upper body that was uploaded to YouTube two years ago, has recently resurfaced on the web. It is said to have been filmed at Louisiana Zoo in the U.S. and, despite the children in the background of the video laughing, Rocky is not an animal you'd want to cross paths with in a dark alley.
The international media was abuzz earlier this year after Dave, a hefty Eastern Grey kangaroo weighing in at 95kgs and 2 meters tall, was spotted bounding around the streets of Moreton Bay, north of Brisbane. But Dave isn't the only hefty kangaroo. Rocky's size is a mystery, while Roger, who lives at The Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, is also a contender for the title of "brawny kangaroo".
He enjoys crushing metal buckets with his hands, and he is proud of his 89kg weight and 2.007m height from head to toe.
